Hmm...I should read more actual science fiction too! I have a ton of Philip K. Dick to read. I recommend him because, although I haven't read the books on this list (but are on my own to read list), I have read a couple of his other novels, which were really good. I also have been meaning to read more Ursula K. LeGuin, and Isaac Asimov...AND I have been wanting to read some Alistair Reynolds too :).
